In her own words: “The illustration was developed on a holiday trip with nature, sea, forest, flowers, boats and cabins as the immediate surroundings. Since the product offers the option of thick on both sides, it was natural to create two versions of the landscape. One of which shows the day with sun, bird and the second night with moon, light in the window and bats. The product can therefore adapt, whether you want to dress with high contrast or something muted.”

Sandra Blikås, originally from Hustadvika, graduated from Norges Kreative Fagskole in Trondheim in 2011, majoring in both graphic design and illustration. Sandra moved to Oslo in 2014 and has since worked as a freelance illustrator full-time. She creates colourful, lush and organically inspired illustrations. They are often dominant with round shapes and curved lines put together as figure-based scenarios and patterns. Read more.
