In her own words: “I wanted to make a net for the beach, for the club, for the library, for an exhibition, for a stroll, for the shop. Perfect size for food and for books and for wine and swimwear and all your/mine things. The motif is a combination of things I like to draw most when I draw completely free; Flash for homemade tattoos, and a lot of loose hair.”

Esra Røise is educated at Einar Granum Art School and has a bachelor’s degree from Oslo Academy of Arts (KHiO) in visual communication. Today she works as a freelance illustrator in Oslo with everything from editorial to more commercial projects, with roots in fashion illustration. Read more.
