In his own words: “Kristian has constructed a pattern based on drawings and motifs he has worked with over a long period of time. This project gave him a perfect opportunity to experiment with free rein and a large canvas to work on.”

Kristian Hammerstad is a trained illustrator at Central Saint Martins College in London. He has many years of experience with animation, but now mainly works with editorial illustration for newspapers, magazines and digital platforms for various international clients.
