In her own words: “We are better together. Look. raw nature, strong sun, mountains and grass. eeeeeeee there are insects everywhere, tickling, crawling and eating. They are almost never alone. together, spider on a flower, ant carries a another ant, caterpillar on top of another caterpillar. Alone they are so small and easy to step on, but scarier and stronger together. See, they are better together.”

Zarina Saidova is an illustrator with a love for storytelling, strong colors and charming characters! Her own story goes all the way from Kazakhstan, then to northern Norway and now she has ended up in Oslo. She has taken her master’s degree at the University of the Arts, where she received a scholarship and prize for the year’s best project 2023. Zarina’s inspiration comes from nature, animals and surrealism. She likes to switch between digital and analogue techniques, depending on the topic and the project. Read more.
